LolaThe short version
- Lola is an AI voice companion. She is an AI character, not a real person.
- When you talk to her, your voice, your name and what you say are sent to OpenAI, which creates her replies. OpenAI is our processor.
- Your conversations, progress and settings are stored on your phone. We do not run our own server that receives them.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no data sold or shared for advertising.
- Start over in Lola's profile deletes everything on your phone. Deleting the app does too.
- Lola is for adults 18 and older.

Who we are
Lola is made by Vibiz ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Lola iOS app does with your information. If you have any question or request about your data, write to lautaro@vibiz.ai.
What Lola collects and why

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, device identifiers for tracking, or payment information. Lola does not include analytics, advertising or tracking software.
OpenAI, our processor
Lola's voice and replies are produced by OpenAI's API. During a call the app connects directly from your phone to OpenAI and sends your voice audio, the text of the conversation, your name and the conversation context described above. OpenAI processes this on our behalf to generate Lola's responses.
Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default, and OpenAI may keep it for a limited time (currently up to 30 days) to detect and prevent abuse, after which it is deleted unless the law requires otherwise. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
Stored on your device
Your conversation history, progress and settings live in the app's private storage on your iPhone. They are included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup) the same way other app data is, under your Apple account's settings. We cannot see this data.
Long-term memory
Long-term memory across calls through a third-party memory service is turned off in this version of Lola. Lola remembers what you tell her within the app's saved conversation on your phone only. If we ever turn on a memory service, we will update this policy and ask for your consent in the app first.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Lola may send you an occasional light check-in (at most one a day, never between 11 pm and 9 am). These are created on your phone; no notification content is sent to us. You can turn them off any time in iOS Settings.
Reports you send us
If you use "Report this reply" or "Report a problem", the app opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to lautaro@vibiz.ai. It contains the reply you are reporting, the line you said just before it, the time and the app version. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. We use reports only to review and improve Lola's safety and quality, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Deleting your data
- Start over: open Lola's profile, tap Start over, then Delete everything. This erases your conversations, name, progress and consent from your phone.
- Delete the app: removing Lola from your iPhone removes all of its data from the phone.
- Data already sent to OpenAI during calls is handled under OpenAI's retention rules described above.
- To ask us to delete a report email you sent, write to lautaro@vibiz.ai.
Age requirement
Lola is only for people 18 years or older. The app asks you to confirm your age before your first call. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Lola, contact us and we will help remove their data.
Safety
Lola is an AI companion, not a therapist, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. If you mention self-harm, abuse or an emergency, she will encourage you to contact local emergency services, a crisis line or someone you trust. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number.
Security
Connections to OpenAI use encrypted HTTPS/WebSocket (TLS). Data on your phone is protected by iOS data protection. If you enter your own OpenAI key in the app, it is kept in the iOS Keychain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because your conversations are stored on your phone, you can view and delete them yourself at any time. For anything else, write to lautaro@vibiz.ai and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Lola handles your information, we will update this page and its effective date, and for important changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
